We know that you all are as eager for the new software system as we are, and it’s finally time to pre-register your account! Our desktop site and iOS app are up and running, with Android coming soon. You can check out the New Rates and Plans on our website for a reminder before you pre-register.
Use the promo “PREREGISTER” before Feb 1st to receive $7 credit toward membership and $10 credit to driving costs! We’ll be sending out personalized promo codes soon to transfer any existing credit and to cover prorated annual costs.
Before you start, you will need the following items accessible on the device you’re using:
- A photo of the front and back of your driver’s license
- A selfie or other clear photo of your face

Please pre-register between January 18th – February 14th, 2021. During this window, the $25 Application Fee is waived. Accounts not updated between January 18th – February 14, 2021, will be treated as a new application and will be subjected to a $25 Application Fee and may lose all existing driving credits.
Please note, you will be charged immediately for the membership plan you choose on registration and will receive the associated match back of credit to your account. Technology Switch Timeline
From January 25th – February 1st, 2021, our entire fleet will be offline and unavailable for reservations and the office will be closed. January 24th will be the last day to use our current system, and we’ll be back online February 1st, 2021 on new software. Add this to your calendar with this Eventbrite link!
If you have an upcoming reservation beyond February 1st, 2021, we will automatically transfer it. You’ll still see the same familiar cars and hubs on the same round-trip model, but the registration software and in-car technology will be all new!
If you’d like to make a reservation in the new system for February 1, 2021, please complete this quick form. Reservations will be made on a first come, first serve basis. We’ll let you know if your reservation is unable to be scheduled.
Our new system doesn’t support access to reservations via AWID fob. Instead, you will be able to access your trips via the app or Metro Transit GoTo card, and you can still call us for a virtual start as a backup. If currently have a fob and you’d like to link a Metro Transit GoTo card to your account to serve as a backup access method, please reply to this email to let us know your card’s serial number. If you don’t currently have a Metro Transit GoTo card and would us to send you one, please fill out this brief form.
