$30 Overnight MAX between 6 PM and 8 AM, 7 days per week.

Not sure which plan to choose?

Go with Voyager if you’re driving more than a couple miles, or you don’t want to calculate how far you’re going. Choose Neighborhood if you only need the car for short errands in your, well, neighborhood (see where it got its name?). If you are a student, or U of M Faculty/Staff, click here!

To get technical, the break-even point between the plans is 5 miles driven per hour (if you average more than 5 miles per hour choose Voyager, less than 5 go with Neighborhood).

“If you want the convenience of a car without the responsibility that comes with owning a car – HOURCAR is a great choice.”

“It’s nice to have options – we can reserve a truck to run to the furniture store or a hatchback for a large grocery haul or a trip to the dog park.”

“I use HOURCAR to help the Minneapolis Art Lending Library safely move artists work. It’s a great option for budget-tight organizations”
