JoHanna brings her passion for nonprofit leadership with a demonstrated expertise in driving program growth and aligning services with organizational values.

JoHanna is currently the Director of Programs & Strategy at The Lift Garage, a social enterprise that offers low-cost car repair services to low-income Minnesotans. She joined The Lift Garage in 2018 and has been key in the strategic growth of the organization – and learning first hand how critical it is for low-income families to have reliable and affordable transportation.

She has over a decade of experience working with nonprofits focused on providing people centered services in the fields of transportation, financial empowerment, housing and emergency shelters. JoHanna has a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Iowa and her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Wartburg College in Iowa.
