Minnesota State Fair Parking Update for HOURCAR & Evie Drivers

This year HOURCAR is replacing the “Evie Drop Zone” it has offered in the past at the Minnesota State Fairground and switching to a transit-oriented option. Managing our fleet at the Fair is logistical lunacy AND driving more cars to the Fair really doesn’t make sense because there are so many alternate and great ways to get there. 

Instead, look for dedicated HOURCAR & Evie parking spaces located in the Victory and Ski-U-MAH parking lots on the University of Minnesota campus. Once you park the Evie,  you can jump on the free State Fair Shuttle and enjoy the fair! Here is a link that outlines ALL the options to get to the Fair.

No need for any QR code scanning, just drive into the parking lot, look for our dedicated Evie signs, and park. 

Note: There is no parking allowed in these lots on September 3rd due to a Gopher football game. Go Gophers!
