No matter what you have to get done, HOURCAR is here to help you do it. Trips as short as 30 minutes or as long as 3 days. Reserve a car as far out as 6 months. Charging/gas, insurance, and local roadside assistance included.
HOURCAR members now have access to an even larger variety of vehicles, providing Nissan Leafs for a renewably-powered, electric trip to the grocery store, Subarus for those trips to Minnesota State Parks for the weekend, and Kia Souls to haul those garage sale finds.

HOURCAR works for everyone. Whether it’s your primary car, a backup car, a get-out-of-town car, or a special projects car, we have a variety of vehicles to suit your needs. So if you live alone, have a roommate, spouse, children, or even a furry friend, we’ve got a car just for you.
Update your membership plan every month to fit your monthly errands. Subscribe to Adventure PLUS for those trips up north, update it to Everyday for those in-person office meetings, or switch it to Try It if you’re taking a carshare break. If you are on the Try It plan, you can upgrade to any paid plan at any time.
Starting December, 2022, all trips with electric HOURCARs will be charged a $2 deposit which will be returned as Drive Credit when the trip is properly ended with the vehicle charging. All Drive Credit is valid for 60 days and is automatically applied to trip costs until used or expired.
